Personal Space
"Personal Space" was inspired by the new age of people using technology to openly judge others, whether its people they think they know or don't even know at all. I wanted to visually display a first impression experience of a collection of individuals using their bedrooms. I found that a persons bedroom is comparable to a first date experience. Each photograph tells the viewer a little about each subject including what sports the subject is interested in, what books they've read, music they listen to, places they've gone, etc. This project can be looked at as somewhat of a social experiment between the subject and the viewer. Although this project is presented as a series, each person is meant to stand alone, only being influenced by their own personal space.
